Every day at Pentre Riding Stables & Trekking Centre brings wide views and clean Brecon Beacons air. From the saddle, riders can explore unspoilt hills with direct access to extensive bridle paths and miles of open hill terrain. Our guided rides take you across countryside and mountain trails, including less obvious routes that go beyond standard bridle paths for a more adventurous experience. This setting is ideal for guided horse rides, trail riding, countryside pony rides, and advanced pony treks, all delivered in a safe, well-managed riding environment suited to different confidence levels.

DAY RIDES – FULL DAY EXPERIENCE
A Day Ride provides the ideal opportunity to spend a full day on horseback exploring the Brecon Beacons. This experience consists of two 2-hour guided treks, with a return to the stables for lunch between rides. The route covers local mountains and scenic bridle paths, making it suitable for less-experienced riders. These sessions are flexible and can be booked for a minimum of one person. The cost is £90 per person, which does not include lunch. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments or purchase a meal locally during the break between rides.

OUR HORSES & GUIDES
Our horses are fit, well-mannered, and surefooted, with extensive experience navigating steep and rocky terrain to reach high-level areas for the finest views. They are carefully selected to be suitable for all rider abilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience. Our friendly and supportive guides are qualified trek leaders who tailor each ride to the confidence and skill of the individual. To maintain a personalised and safe environment, Pentre Riding Stables & Trekking Centre limits group sizes to a maximum of 10 riders.
